Cheerios

As I was reading the ingredient list on my box of Cheerios, I saw a very familiar chemical name: trisodium phosphate. I knew this chemical name from somewhere, and then I remembered:





Most of the back of the TSP heavy duty cleaner box is filled with very detailed instructions, most of which involve the phrase DO NOT.

I'm sure that there is a very good explanation for this. Something very benign, like the chemical comes in both food grade and industrial grade varieties. But I still find it disconcerting.
