Documentary
As part of my planning for my fall classes, I made arrangements for all my students to see The Math Life one evening in an auditorium on campus. I think that everyone taking a math class needs to see this amazing documentary about modern mathematicians.
As I was familiarizing myself with the room and verifying that it really does have enough seats and really does have a VCR, I found a scrap of paper left behind by a student preparing for her MRS degree.
