Does Not Divide

I'm making a worksheet on divisibility. And I've gotten over my bias that \vert is a delimiter and \mid is a relation and decided that $a \vert b$ looks better than $a \mid b$. But now I'm stumped as to how to typeset the symbol for does-not-divide. $a \not\vert b$ looks terrible.

Never mind: I found \nmid. But now I have to turn each \vert back into a \mid.
