From the Midterm

Question: Are a sphere and a torus equivalent by distortion? Why or why not?

Answer: Yes, because they are both created by a mobius strip which is the same size. Just bent different ways. They are both created from the mobius strip as well.

Question: Imagine you have a tetrahedron made out of clay and you slice off all its corners. Describe the shape that you end up with. What do its faces look like? How many faces does it have? How many edges? How many vertices? Try to sketch it.

Answer: I think you would get a sphere, with an infinate [sic] amount of circle faces and an infinate [sic] of edges and vertices.
