Home Alone

  • Timothy called. We talked about sheaves. He decided that a sheaf is like a bundle with singularities.

  • I finished knitting the first sock. At the toe I just pulled the yarn through the remaining stitches instead of grafting. The sock weighs 46 grams, and the rest of the yarn weighs 57 grams, so there should be no horrible surprises later on.

  • I'm thinking of walking to the grocery store to get more instant cider mix. But it's cold out. And I always feel like I'm gawking when I go to the grocery store on a holiday. Both Thanksgiving and Christmas fall near the end of the month, so most people are running out of food stamps, and they have to make difficult decisions at the check-out.
