  1. Was at the fancy food store (because buying groceries counts as a chore, not as procrastination!), and some guy who was also looking at the mushrooms turns to me and says, "Don't you love Chopin?" Which I do. I'm taken off guard and realize that he's talking about the background music being played in the store. So I say, "I do, but this is Beethoven." "Beethoven?" he asks. "The Moonlight Sonata. The third movement," I reply. I smile, walk away, and continue shopping.

  2. On the local NPR/classical station the announcer decided to pluralize "opus" as "opi."
