What's Going Around
You know that virus that's going around? It's out of control around here. The public schools are closed today and Monday because everyone is sick. (They are saying that it's "the flu," but I'm skeptical that everyone has real-official influenza).
And so, we got the email memo: If you are sick, then it is your responsibility to find someone else to teach all your classes for you. What other line of work do you get no sick days and then have to find someone else to go in and do your job when you can't be there?
