Slow to Assimilate

You can tell I grew up in New York.*


1. When I arrived at UCSD I saw the ridiculous parking shortage, and my first thought was, "Wow, this is going to be really bad in the winter."


2. Recently I was driving near the state line, and I saw a fireworks shack. I didn't buy any because I couldn't think of a place where I could set them off without being caught.

*Now I live in the south.
