This is a second attempt. (This project has no status bar.)


I'm using 32 sts on 0s, k2 p2 rib. I didn't bind off any sts for the openings -- just switched to working back and forth (slipping the first st of each row) and letting the tension pull them open. If I did it again, I would put the slit in the middle of one of the k2 ribs instead of between a k2 and a p2. Not sure how I'm going to finish the top.
