The Price of Gas
Yesterday I went to the cheap gas station. I was excited: $1.999 a gallon!
But as I was pumping my gas, I noticed that it was E10; the gas was 10% ethanol. (It's like wine for your car!)
The problem with the ethanol gas is that the fuel economy is worse. According to various internet sources, your miles-per-gallon drops by about 2%. Thus, in order to keep your miles-per-dollar constant, you should not buy E10 unless the price is about 2% lower than that of regular gas.
