In Which My Problems Sort of Cancel Each Other Out

1. Homeless Relative needs money (again). For his car registration and car insurance. For his $200 cell phone bill (half of which is text messages!!). For assorted other stuff.


2. I am incapable of filling out W4 correctly. I will end up owing a gazillion dollars in taxes.

Solution: He qualifies as a dependent! (So says Publication 501.) Now I'll owe less (but I'll still owe -- damn W4).
