Communications
Subtitle: Spending too much time on the internet.
By modern standards my house is on a fairly small lot. So small that you can't build anything on it without a zoning variance because every square inch of this lot is too close to the property line for building. Ditto for all my neighbors. The distance between the south wall of my house and the north wall of my neighbor's house is about six feet. Neither house is insulated and both have single-pane windows. Not a lot of privacy.
I'm starting to find it weird that the standard method of communication between me and my next door neighbor is email. We will email each other when we are both at home. Even weirder, he mentioned that he's noticed that my schedule changed (I'm staying up later) now that it's summer.
