Micro-Review: Newton's Dark Secrets

The NOVA episode Newton's Dark Secrets

In a nutshell, it's another somewhat disappointing piece with the word "secrets" in the title.

This episode shows that Newton was a wacky guy, and it touches upon some of his most famous accomplishments. It was sort of hokey with its dramatic recreations. There is just enough content in it that I could show it in class -- maybe -- but it left me wishing for a good one-hour film on the history of calculus.
