Mysteries from the Aviation Industry

  1. On my return home, one of my flights took off in Los Angeles, two of my flights landed in Detroit, two of my flights took off from Detroit, and one of my flights landed in my city. And yet I only took two flights! How is this possible!?

If passengers needed three take-offs and landings to stay current, I would be all set.

  2. The ground crew wonders: Who forgot to put on the gas cap allowing jet fuel to spray out of a hole in the wing as the plane ascended to 5000 feet? How did this happen? How are we going to fix it? Can we get this plane back in the air?

  3. Why do I continue to fly Northwest?
