The Registrar's Office Runs the Show
The absolute deadline for the last-chance drop was on Tuesday, November 14.
A student missed it and wants to drop now, during finals week.
The registrar's office said, "OK, just bring a note from your instructor on letterhead, and we'll drop you."
Isn't there a drop deadline for a reason?
Doesn't our appeals process for retroactive withdrawals take care of the special cases?
Why can't they just say, "No," and not make the Math Department have to be the bad guys?
