Using Branding to My Advantage

Recently the university has been rolling out its new brand identity. New uses of the university logo, new stylebooks about the official way to use the various insignia (if you write a letter on letterhead, you are required to use 1" margins), and an all-new web page.

By pointing my browser to schoolname.edu/styles, I was able to download all of the official CSS stylesheets for the new look. Now on my list of things to do over spring break? Revamp my course webpage to have the "look and feel" of an official university web page and hope that some of the officialness will cause the students to believe what I say about rules, prerequisites, and the like.
