Strange Invitation

Today I received in my department mailbox a leter from the Bulgarian Embassy inviting me to an event to honor the chair of the board of trustees of the Army War College.

This might be even stranger than the time that I was invited to go to breakfast with Bill Frist and Joe Lieberman (I couldn't make it because I had a schedule conflict).

In any event, it's on a Wednesday night in the middle of April in Washington, DC. Don't think that I can make it.
