The Honors Students Don't Make Egregious Mistakes

Yes, I'm teaching a bit of folklore.

But the responses are way more interesting to read than the algebra mis-steps that litter the calculus papers.




OK, the title of this post lies, as one of my students was unable to decide whether several dull numbers were rational or irrational. But that was just sort of sad, not shockingly amusing.
