Problems and Solutions

1. My new computer won't be ready in time for the first day of classes. I have a mediocre version of my first day Keynote on my iPod.


2. I've xeroxed every piece of paper that I need for the first day of classes (the 9th!). I have not yet filed anything from the fall semester. I have no idea what I'm DOING in class with any of these pieces of paper.


3. I have a doctor's appointment scheduled for tomorrow. I have no idea what I'm going to say to get my point across and make sure that the doctor understands my concerns.


4. It used to be almost 80F in my office, and the a/c running all winter drove me nuts; today it's in the mid-60s.
