Computer Science Homework and the Internet

Last week's CS homework had a few tricky problems on it. Those are the ones that sent me to the internet and then later to office hours for one of the TAs. Eventually I figured it out, understood the internet solutions, and wrote up my homework. My solution expanded on what I found on the internet, filling in the details. I cited both the web page and the TA who helped me.

Today the official solutions appeared on the web, apparently written by the other TA. Seems that he was inspired by the exact same web page that I was. Only he barely paraphrased and didn't bother to cite the original.
