My Minions Spread Mis-Information
Today a D student from the Calculus Circus was in my office talking about grades and the like. My student scored lower than expected on the recent exam, and we were trying to figure out why and how to go about fixing it.
I started paging through my student's notebook, and I immediately identified the problem: the student had only done a few homework problems from the most recent unit.
I pointed this out, and the student was shocked and surprised, responding, "My TA said that we didn't have to do the homework, that we only needed to do a few of the problems."
