Things That Aren't Really Worth Blogging About
- Did an unbelievable amount of laundry. Mind-boggling.
- Cleaned the house so it's now very clean for my house. Probably unremarkably normal-clean for regular people. I clean, on average, about once a year. I so very much love the Magic Eraser.
- Read part of a book about the standard model of particle physics. Horribly distracted by the very, very bad book design. Low-res diagrams with the labels in Comic Sans. Headings set in Friz Quadrata. Ouch, ouch, ouch.
- Ate about half a packet of turkey bacon-bits (meant for sprinkling on salads).
- Started to catch up on the podcasts that have been accumulating on my iTunes. Sign that I am a terrible person: Upon listening to the This American Life episode "The Giant Pool of Money" about the sub-prime mortgage crises and how it came to be, the thought that kept running through my head was, "There was all this money to be made in the financial services industry and instead of going to work for an investment bank after graduating from Dartmouth, I went to graduate school!?"
- Have done no real work. Have not even thought about doing any.
