Where the Economy Has Hit Me
Since I live two miles from work and within walking distance of a supermarket, I haven't really noticed the price of gas.
And since I rarely (if ever) buy fresh produce, and I never buy meat, I haven't noticed the price of food going up.
But what has got me is the price of drycleaning. Used to be that I could get anything cleaned for $3 an item. Now it's running me close to $8 an item. (I'm told that it's unlikely that the physicists have started a run on drycleaning fluid.)
