I am Stupidly Impressionable When Faced with Bad Ideas

One of my coworkers is trying to convince me to skip out on work and drive to Maine with him.

I've never been to Maine before. Once in the mid-1990s I was in a bad mood and started driving east from Hanover, NH, but I calmed down and turned around before I reached Maine. I have no reason to go to Maine.

Is there any way for us to justify being down two staff-members at a busy time? No.
