in ur class list stealin' ur students

My honors section of the gen-ed class had 12 students enrolled. The official cut-off for a lower division class is 15, but the college is mildly flexible about honors classes. Still, it makes life easier if I can get 15 and the enrollment becomes a non-issue.

This morning when I woke up I realized that the very same perl script that I use for identifying under-qualified students in Calculus Lite can also be used to identify the over-qualified students in the regular sections of the gen-ed class. I can grab the list of every student who is enrolled in the gen-ed class, find out which of them are qualified for Real Calculus (and Honors Real Calculus with Spivak) and then email them all letting them know about the honors section of the gen-ed class.

So I did.
