There Aren't That Many Jennifers

There's a guy in my department who keeps calling me Jennifer. I figured that he was just bad at names and playing the odds based on the fact that there are a non-trivial number of women named Jennifer in my department.

But then he got in touch with me about a student whose name is Martha Morales Lopez. Only he referred to her as Jennifer, too.
