Technology Demonstrations
Today I had the document camera fired up so that I could show the students how to enter their student ID numbers with their clickers. I figure this is my way to circumvent parts of the awful software. After I export the spreadsheet, I'll sort it by ID number.
After doing the clicker demo, I then showed them how to use a regular calculator to calculate things like e2.
And since I was putting small electronic devices on the document camera, next up was my iPod. I explained to my students that if you make flashcards on PPT slides and then export them as images, you can tell iTunes that the slideshow is a photo album. Then you can review your flashcards on your iPod while you're on the bus or at the gym.
