(Bring me to my office and tear me away from my beloved database -- and make me an earl grey latte -- and then the blog posts start flowing.)
The other day I mentioned (among a list of other things) that the Honesty Council found in my student's favor. Now I'm wondering about that.
The only information that I have is an email from the student involved. The student says that the council found in the student's favor, and could I please not impose the grade penalty that I had chosen as a sanction. Almost a week later, and I haven't heard anything from anyone else. Not an email from one of the law students who run that office. Not a note in my mailbox. Certainly nothing on letterhead.
I think I'll continue to ignore the email from the student until someone with more credibility gets in touch.
