  1. Listened to a fire saftey talk by the same people who have a lot of furniture in the hallway, impeding my egress.

  2. Spent $80 of MIT's money on renting a room at MIT. It's amazing how easy it is to get things done when you have a cost object number. If I were more officially connected to MIT, my life would be even easier.

  3. Escorted a group to a meeting for internationals on J-1 visas. The forms that needing filling out were so complicated that I would have had trouble with them. Left the meeting feeling anxious, even though I am a U.S. citizen.

  4. Meant to be sleeping by now, but I am too stupid to sleep.

  5. Dealt with awkward professional situation. Weeks ago asked someone to do something that really needed to be all set up by the other day. Heard nothing. Asked someone else who agreed. First person finally wrote back today. Had to explain situation.

  6. Still stupid cold. Still hating the food in the student center. Have $900 left on my TechCASH card.
