Doing My Homework This Weekend
Back in the spring I read a bunch of stuff relating to the seminar that I'm going to be teaching in the spring. I distinctly remembered taking all sorts of notes. They are missing.
Perhaps it's a good thing that I don't have my computer this weekend because that will give me plenty of time to re-read everything that I was planning on assigning this term. OK, I lie. You know that I will be here in my office over the weekend working on my office computer. Odds are that I will be working on my placement enforcement system even though the registrar's office has not sent me the information that I have asked for almost a half-dozen times since May.
I will not be reading the books that I bought for the classes that I'm taking this fall. In an amazing stroke of luck, a statistics book that I bought with my grant this spring is a required text for a class that I'm taking in the fall!
Or maybe I will toss caution to the wind and head out to the shopping malls and do some back-to-school shopping.
