The Future of Publishing

The book rep who stopped by left me an assortment of their latest and greatest ideas. Including a textbook that is about the same size and shape as the fall fashion magazines.

The book is cheap-cheap-cheap, with a list price of roughly $55. And a hip and frenetic layout. The reps promised me that this is what students want to see in a textbook.

No subscription cards inside. And no advertisements. Although I'm pretty sure that the folks at Guinness beer were probably quite happy to clear the rights for having their logo shown to so many college students.
