Would You Like a Pony, Too?

For the large calculus class I like to do the online course evaluations because otherwise the logistics are a nightmare.

The problem, of course, is that the online version has a lower response rate than the in-class on-paper version. And everyone wants higher response rates.

Today I emailed the class letting them know that if 100% of the students in the class fill out the online evaluation that I will drop five WebAssign grades and make the final open notes.
