Since I didn't feel like cleaning my house today I'm in the office playing with my dataset from the registrar's office.
In all of our "normal" freshman-level classes, the mean math ACT score is over 1 point lower for female students than the mean for male students, with a tiny p-value. In these same courses, the success rate is higher for female students than for male students, with a modest p-value.
