This Morning's Adventures in Flexibility
Remember how on Monday I had an elective procedure done? The dermatologist removed a spot that was obviously nothing serious but was bugging me. It was located on my spine, between my shoulder blades, around the area of the third or fourth thoracic vertabrae. The incision was pretty small, and it's held closed by two stitches.
Today I didn't take a shower until after The Topologist left to go teach calculus.
Do you have any idea how hard it is to affix a neosporin-laden band-aid to that spot by yourself? It's exactly in that place where you can't tell if it's easier to get to by reaching over the shoulder or up behind the back.
Also I can't get a good look at it to tell whether it's healing well. It's a bit itchy, but The Topologist hypothesizes that I'm allergic to the glue on the band-aid.
